In partnership with Blackburn with Darwen Food Alliance and Healthwatch.
The sessions being held at school have been designed to bring back the passion in family cooking.
We have invited parents to attend the sessions with their children making tasty, simple meals together and just having some fun together! This is a chance to bond, learn and try different foods.
Thank you for parents who have taken time out of the day to join.
Reflections:
Parent 1 – It’s been really good, I just wish we could have more sessions than 6. I’m really looking forward to getting the recipes later. All week my child has been saying he cant wait to the recipes and that’s not like him. He doesn’t get excited about anything. Its been good to have that time for just the to of us because we don’t get that at home and its good to get him out of his room. I’m cooking more at home too.
Parent 2 – I’m gutted its finishing! I’ve absolutely loved it and its really help my child to focus and he has loved doing it. It’s given me way more confidence and its definitely changed my thinking about cooking at home. I would have loved it if we could of gone on longer.
