A Democratic School Council

Eden School Council is a representative body for the pupils at Eden. It consists of one pupil from each form in years 5-11.

School Council Representatives are elected by their peers.  The Council meets every half term to discuss specific and relevant issues that have been raised by pupils. A number of issues and topics have been on the agenda this year:

  • School council badges
  • Older pupils would like to go swimming
  • More Rewards
  • Visual display of rewards
  • New balls for breaks
  • Health snacks for during the day
  • More options for breakfast
  • Golden Room – best behaved pupils
